Rihanna Devastated After Her & Beyonce’s Dancer Goes Missing: ‘My Heart Aches’

Shirlene Quigley has now been missing for two days, and Rihanna is completely heartbroken about it. The singer caught wind of news that one of her backup dancers mysteriously disappeared, and took to Instagram to beg for help.
“This beautiful soul, and former dancer of mine is MISSING!!!!” Rihanna, 28, wrote alongside a video of Shirlene Quigley, 32 “My heart aches thinking of how heavy this is on all who love her! If anyone has sen or has any information of @shirlenequigley’s whereabouts…… PLEASE CONTACT the North Bergen Police Department 201 392 2100!!!”
Shirlene is a professional dancer, whose career began when she performed in Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love” video at just 18 years old. She worked with RiRi on the “SOS” video in 2006, but now, years later, something has gone terribly wrong.
The 32-year-old was last seen around 1:00 a.m. at Port Authority in New York City, where she was getting on a bus. She usually calls her father every night, so he quickly grew concerned when he didn’t hear from her that evening, according to NBC News. The site reports that Shirlene’s phone was found at a bridal store in the Big Apple, and that before she disappeared, she mysteriously told a friend, “get ready, it’s about to happen and I’m going to need you to sub for me.”
Currently a dance teacher at Peridance Capezio Center & Broadway Dance Center, Shirlene lives alone in North Bergen N.J., according to her Facebook. Besides just performing with Beyonce and Rihanna in well-known music videos, she’s also danced at huge award shows like the VMAs and Grammys. Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones during this difficult time and we are, of course, hoping she turns up unharmed.
