Drake Hints He’s Dropping New Music On His 30th Birthday — Is It About Rihanna?

There’s just days left until Drake turns thirty, flirty and thriving, and he may be giving US a gift! Drake hinted on Instagram that new music is coming on his birthday, October 24! Will it be about his lost love with Rihanna?
Drake is turning 30 on Monday, October 24, and he’s celebrating with a special edition of OVO Sound Radio. Drake and his manager, Oliver El-Khatib, will be hosting the show together, premiering new mixes that may contain some brand new songs!
The “Hotline Bling” singer raised major eyebrows about that possibility when he responded to a Complex magazine Instagram post about the upcoming radio show. Complex posted a promo image for the show, and asked,” new music?” Drake actually responded to the post in the comments, and just sent the magazine the bullseye emoji! Sounds like he’s telling them that they’re right on target with that assumption!
This is so exciting! Drake’s been teasing the possibility of new music for quite some time, and now we may be finally able to get our hands on a copy of a new record! Drake actually told the audience of his concert in Tacoma, Washington, in September that he was “about six, maybe seven new songs in. Just getting warmed up. I don’t know what I’m going to do with it, I don’t know what it’s going to be, but what I do know is I can’t wait to come back to the motherf**king Tacoma Dome and perform all that sh*t for y’all.”
Drake does have some particularly juicy material to work with now. His volatile split with Rihanna, 28, is perfect fodder for angsty new jams. Everyone knows cranky Drake makes the best music! Drake and Rihanna recently split because he allegedly stepped out on her with two models. Since then, it’s been a testy time. Drake’s been distraught, trying to deal with the fact that there are plenty of eligible bachelors, like Odell Beckham, Jr., who want their chance with his ex. He’s got a lot to sing about!
