Rihanna is counting her blessings that former backup dancer Shirlene Quigley was found safe and sound after going missing in NYC! She took to Instagram to post a sweet message about Shirlene’s safe return. Click through to see it!
“God is so merciful!!! Happy you’re alive and safe @shirlenequigley,” Rihanna, 28, captioned an adorable #TBT photo of herself and Shirlene, 32, on October 26, hugging tight and smiling. It was a repost from Shirlene, which she posted several weeks before she tragically went missing in New York City. They clearly have a close bond!
“#TBT back when @badgalriri was my boss and friend! Love and miss this beautiful soul! The laughs and amazing memories on stage with this woman… I will never forget and always cherish,” Shirlene captioned the photo, posted eight weeks before her frighteningly ordeal. After disappearing without a trace on October 23, last seen at the city’s Port Authority bus terminal, Shirlene was thankfully found alive and well on October 25!
Shirlene, also a backup dancer for Beyonce and Missy Elliott, was located at an undisclosed medical facility in North Bergen, New Jersey, according to authorities. She is reportedly undergoing medical treatment, but authorities are not releasing details to protect her privacy. Her father, Brad Quigley
After hearing the news that Shirlene had disappeared, Rihanna was one of the first people to speak out about the emergency. She begged for help finding her backup dancer on social media. She posted a video of Shirlene on Instagram, and said that her “heart aches” knowing that Shirlene was in danger. She asked her millions of fans to let the police know if they saw her!
