This is so exciting! Selena Gomez, 24, is back in the studio and we have the photos to prove it. The “Can’t Keep My Hands to Myself” singer released her amazing album Revival in 2015, and ever since she ended the Revival tour in August 2016, we’ve been waiting anxiously for some awesome new music. It may be coming sooner than we expected!
Selena surprised fans by posting three darkly lit photos from inside a recording studio on the night of March 10. There weren’t any captions, and it’s hard to make out some of the faces — maybe that’s the way Selena wanted it! Selena is smiling and laughing as she hangs out with her friends, and from the looks of things, she’s about to record something spectacular.
Is it love songs about her boyfriend, maybe? Selena is head over heels for The Weeknd, 27 (real name Abel Tesafaye), and she’s just returned home stateside after spending a magical trip together throughout Europe with her guy. They went sightseeing in Italy, held hands as they walked through the streets, and she even showed up to a few of his Starboy tour dates to cheer him on from the audience! More importantly, a source told us EXCLUSIVELY that they were working on new music together while they were across the pond.
The duo, according to our source, were working on several songs together, and we should all expect one to be a “sexy, sultry, slow love song.” Whoa! So, is Selena working on different music for an upcoming album, or is she putting the finishing touches on her collaboration with her guy? Only time will tell!
