Selena Gomez, 24, is truly a light in so many people’s lives. The singer decided to spread some holiday cheer by stopping by Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas, on Dec. 24, making it an unforgettable Christmas Eve for 14 kids. “She was very sweet and amazing with the kids!” a source tells E! News. “There were some tears, so it was pretty emotional for some patients.” Sel was all smiles in the hospital’s Child Life Zone play area, decorating cookies and more. “She was absolutely wonderful and genuine,” the source added. “The hospital was so thankful she took time away from her family to visit children who can’t be home this Christmas.”
Selena even hugged all the patients and posed for several heartwarming pics. One of the sweetest moments captured was with her biggest fan, Madison, who got to meet the star for the first time. “Selena came to see Madison today,” the girl’s mother wrote via social media, sharing a pic of the two hugging closely. “Love that she took time out of her busy schedule to make her day! Shelby and Madison both remember watching her on Barney, Wizards of Waverly Place and have been listening to her music for years! Such a great gift of kindness she showed us today!!”
Selena has been taking it easy, ever since announcing that she was battling with depression and other side effects due to her chronic lupus flare ups. She previously shocked fans by making a highly anticipated appearance at the 2016 American Music Awards, where she opened up about her struggles in a heartfelt speech. After seeing her gorgeous smile light up the room at the children’s hospital, we can hardly wait for her next surprise and epic comeback into the spotlight!

Looking good Selena Gomez, 23! The talented star hopped on Instagram for the first time in three weeks on Dec. 17, to share a gorgeous pic of her and tease a newly-inked campaign deal with Coach! This is SO exciting!
In the image, Selena was captured wearing a grey cropped top with a leather jacket wrapped around her. She was also seen air kissing a small, Coach wristlet purse that she held in her hands. SO cute! “Being able to create is my favorite thing in the whole world,” Selena wrote in the caption on the pic. “I’m so excited to be a part of the vision and family coach AND I get the honor to design with stuartson -ahhhhhh,” OMG, it’s ture! Sel just revealed some major details about how she is designing custom bags with the fashion brand!
In addition to the bag that Sel was holding in the pic, Coach’s official Instagram page revealed several other bags designed by the singer. In another pic, the were two purses in red and blue that had little tags with Selena’s initials on them. “Double up on the Dinky bag. There’s one for you and one for—guess who,” the caption read. SO cute!
Prior to the big reveal on Instagram, it was confirmed that Sel signed a $10 million deal with the brand, according to Page Six. It’s a little unclear when  and where these bags will be available, but we can’t wait to get our hands on one of them! And of course with every new line comes gorgeous new ad photos! We can’t wait to see what edgy photo shoot Selena and Coach come up with! Whatever it may be, we’re pretty sure it’s going to be fabulous as is everything the “Kill Em With Kindness” artist does!
As previously reported, Selena returned to social media after a lengthy break. The singer recently completed a program at rehab, in which she sought out treatment for depression and anxiety. It’s true, you guys — Selena Gomez is recording new music! Her friend and collaborator shared a new photo of the singer on Dec. 15, and fans are freaking out that the caption means her album is coming. Oh, and one of those fans just so happens to be her ex, Nick Jonas!
Okay, so it’s not clear exactly where this photo, posted by songwriter Justin Tranter, was taken, but it certainly appears that Selena Gomez, 24, is in a recording studio! In the pic, she’s seen applying eyeliner in a compact mirror, and Justin captioned it, “Music and love.” The two worked together a ton on Sel’s last album, Revival, and the fact that he mentions music in his message definitely makes it seem like they’re hard at work on something new!
Obviously, fans were sent into a frenzy when this image was posted, and even Nick Jonas, 24, left a comment — the praising hands emoji! Nick and Selena dated when they were much younger, but there hasn’t seemed to be any bad blood recently, and his reaction is exactly how we feel.
It’s unclear exactly when we’ll get to hear these new tunes, but it’s been reported that the “Same Old Love” singer has been working on them since she went on hiatus and into treatment at the end of summer. “She wrote lots of lyrics in treatment,” an insider revealed to Us Weekly. “She has so many ideas.”
Selena went through a lot this year, so we can imagine she has a ton to pour into her songs! Earlier this week, her graphic designer and longtime friend, Ryan Butler, also assured a fan that more music was coming “soon,” so we’ve certainly been getting a bunch of hints lately that this is definitely on the way.
For her part, Selena has been keeping a very low profile. She didn’t make her first public appearance following her break from the spotlight at the American Music Awards on Nov. 20, and on Thanksgiving, she posted her first Instagram since August to send love to her fans. Oh, Selena Gomez, 23, how we’ve missed you! The pop princess has been absent from the music scene for quite some time now, and it’s been ripping us apart inside! Although the singer has slowly been appearing at major events, we NEED new music like yesterday! Luckily, Selena’s graphic designer, Ryan Butler took to Twitter on Dec. 15, and revealed that our dreams are going to come true soon enough!
After one fan shared a post on Twitter, in which he asked others to retweet if they wanted new music from the “Come and Get It” singer, Ryan hopped in the discussion to announce that new music was coming “soon.” Another person responded to Ryan’s comment, asking, “HOW SOON IS SOON I NEED IT NOW *hyperventilating*!” And we would have to agree! “Soon” isn’t quite the answer we were looking for, but it does suggest that Selena has been hard at work in the studio and may even be in the final stages of production! Woohoo!
But we have to wonder, should we be expecting an album or just a single? As we previously told you, Selena wrote “lots” of lyrics while she was in rehab battling with depression, anxiety, and other emotional issues. So with that being said, we could be expecting a handful of singles or a full body of work! The last couple of singles that we heard from the artist were her brilliant tracks “Kill Em With Kindness,” “Feel Me,” and her collaborated song with Calvin Harris, 35, “Lost In Love,” which were all released in 2016. Her last album, Revival, came out over a year ago in Oct. 2015.
While we are oozing with excitement to see how Sel makes her epic comeback, the singer definitely deserved a break from everything. After all, she was juggling a 4-month Revival Tour, battling Lupus, and personal issues. That’s a lot to handle for anyone! But thankfully, it seems like that break was very refreshing. And she appeared to be in great spirits at the 2016 American Music Awards, in which she stated that she no longer needs validation or to be surrounded by negativity anymore. Wow! We’re glad to see she’s in a better space. Something tells us this may be her most vulnerable and beautiful work yet, whatever it may be! We cannot wait!

Yes, the “Good For You” singer was spotted in Santa Monica on Dec. 2 wearing a gorgeous pair of silky purple jammies under a long black coat that flew open as she walked.
Selena turned the indoor clothing into a classier look with some stylish black stilettos, and she had her face done up with some smokey eyes and dark red lipstick. She had her brunette hair down with a loose ponytail tied at her neck. It was pretty interesting to see the young singer out like this, not only because of her choice of attire, but because it’s the first time she’s been seen out and about since she appeared at the American Music Awards at the end of November. That night was a big one for Selena, who walked away with the award for Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist.
Selena has been out of the spotlight for the past few months to take some time to take care of the side effects she suffers due to her lupus diagnosis. The singer also checked herself into rehab for depression several months ago. She looked amazing during her rare outing, wearing a black wraparound blouse, skinny black slacks, black heeled sandals, and a black handbag. Tousled hair, peach blush, and lots of mascara made this look even better. All-black outfits are always chic, and Selena definitely pulled this one off!
Selena has looked oh-so chic lately. On the day before her hot excursion to Catch, she was spotted Christmas shopping in Santa Monica while wearing a pair of trendy silk pajamas!
